Coincidences?

I believe that SkyNet is taking over the world. Last week my internet at home went on the fritz and I can't do anything about it because it's really the free internet provided by the apartment complex. Then my cell phone's internet disappeared for several days and I couldn't check my email at night! Major stress there. And this weekend? My digital cable went wacky--as in the only channel I could watch without trouble was The Disney Channel. USA, TNT, TCM, TBS, and a few others completely disappeared for hours at a time. Sci Fi kept losing volume during Friday night's Doctor Who . Now, if I watched TV in my bedroom on the tiny TV that doesn't have a digital box, everything was fine...but really, I'm spoiled. I *need* to be able to rewind and rewatch the important bits. Pausing? That's handy too. And my little TV doesn't have closed captioning...well, it does but I lost the original remote control years ago and it does not agree with any of the umpteen million replacement remotes. And sometimes I really need the closed captioning to follow those people with their accents.
I'm just waiting for my radio station to go out. Then we'll know the machines are rising for real!

Say it ain't so! Skynet freaks me out, seriously. As in, it could totally happen. Bummer you didn't get to watch The Doctor on Friday night. It wasn't the best out of this season, but who needs great stories when David Tennant is on your TV? And were you able to see the preview for next week? I'm totally not leaving the house and no one better call me in between 8:00-9:00. :) And yes, sometimes you need closed captioning for the Brits because some of them are just way TOO British! I didn't have any problems with our TV Friday or internet. Maybe the machines are just coming after you! SCARY. I can just see them knocking on your door: I'm looking for Susannah S (in my best Ah-nold accent). You can come hide at my deer camp.
